Fitting a boost controler
I have just got a profec b cheap and I am going to pop it on to my car. I know you have to disconnect the boost regulating solenoid valve from the boost pipes, but do you disconect the electrical plug, and would that not throw up a check engine light? I have located the solenoid, but there seems to be two pressure sensors type things on my inner wing. One is a brown colour with two 4mm pipes and a electrical connector on the top of it, just below that is a metal type cylinder with one 6mm pipe and one 4mm comming from it and the electrical connection its tucked away underneath. which one am I after? Also what kind of boost pressure will I expect fuel cut to kick in?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Got one in mine. In the pic below, the standard boost control solenoid is below the GReddy one. You're correct that disconnecting the wiring plug will throw up a CEL.
On mine, the lefthand side silicon pipe goes to the actuator, the pipe at the front goes to the turbo location in the pic below.
Hope this is of help to you.

1. No fookin idea what it is. But I've mounted mine out the way on one of the now redundant lower air box mounts. I did think it was the boost control solenoid, but someone put me right.
