Question EJ22t closed deck block + wrx MY99/00 heads

Would WRX MY99/00 heads fit an EJ22t shortblock?
I´m not after the mechanical fitment, I know that this would fit, but more I need to know what compression ratio will this combo have?
I read about 7.3:1 or 7.5:1 that seems to be very bad compared to the standard 8.0:1 EJ20t...
So the turbo would ome very late on, I imagine.
Please let me know your opinion!

The CR is largely determined by what pistons are being used and head gasket thickness rather than the heads cc alone.

These are uprated internals but all stock dimension as used on the EJ22...
What thickness would you prefer for the headgaskets?

I'm running an ej22t with sti 5 heads but it'll be different to yours as mine is a stroked 2.33. If you speak to Ron at Axis Performance I'd imagine he'd be able to advise and supply the right head gaskets for you.

He may ask what the chamber volume of the heads are though to help him work it out. If you don't know I can look it up for you.

Everything seems to go it´s way, I hope, looks good!

Stroked 2.2l sounds very fine!
The chamber volume of the WRX MY99/00 heads would be great to know, please!
Many thanks!

Great many thanks that´s what I hoped, as the US WRX heads have the same cc!
