Default Correct oil weight please?

Hello,

Before you start ripping me about using the search button i have tried and come up with that many different answers that all it done was make things more confusing.

Im wanting to know what the correct oil is to be using, my Impreza is a standard STi import on 54k miles, shall be using a OEM Subaru oil filter.

Where is the best place to get the recommended oil from too please? (Im on the Wirral Merseyside if thats any help)

Do i want mineral, synthetic, semi-synthetic etc etc?

Any help would be greatly appriciated
