Settle an Argument For Me..
What is the maximum BHP, boost, torque that can be run on standard internals, injectors etc?
My mate has a print out from a RR that says his classic (MY95) is pulling 313bhp. He swears blind that it is standard apart from decat, DV, cone and EBC.
I said either the RR was shot or it has been chipped or mapped.
Who owes who a beer?

The decat will buy you 25-30 bhp max
The DV will do bugger all
The conefilter may result in a power loss rather than gain.
The RR is VERY optimistic, or it's had a replacement ECU and been mapped; you can't remap a 95 with ECUTEK.

An old MY95 WRX of mine run 276 BHP at 1 bar with similar mods, this was on PE rollers, so pretty optimistic
With one of Pavlo's early ScoobyECU maps and a bit of boost creep I got slightly more WHP than 2 bugeye STI PPP's at a RR event - so around 300 HP at 17psi.
And thats about your lot without a fuel cut defender and OE ECU

He wouldn#t get that figure out of 1 bar boost
I was under the impression that 313bhp would be too much for the std slanty intercooler and right on the edge of the 380 injectors too on the std FPR too. I also wouldn't be running a car that old on higher power without an upgraded fuel pump!
If he blows his engine, tis you who'll need to buy him beers for a while!

It's as dependant on the RR as it is on the car, though it would have to be extremely optimistic to give that kind of reading at 1 bar.
A FMIC, 440s, Walboro and remap and those kind of numbers can be comfortably exceeded.

When my99 was on the rollers at the clinic.
Andy said id be looking at 310-320 with the mods id done.
He advised not to go above 330 bhp on standard internals, but he has mapped a classic to 380 with standard internals.
He did not recomend this but thats what the customer wanted.
