Default Boost gauge and hose question

Hi,
I need to somehow reduce the size of the vacuum pipe that comes of the top of the dump/recirc valve.

I have a boost gauge that I going to fit but the hose that comes with it is a 2mm diameter. The vacuum pipe on the car is probably 6 or 7 mm. Problem is that on the back of the gauge the fitting for the hose is for 2mm. I have a T piece that came with the gauge but it wont fit the car. Can I get different sized ones of these, (like 6mm either side then 2mm leading out).

Or should I connect the gauge to somewhere else? Any suggestions?

Just done this myself. Used a 6mm 3 way T piece. Attached a short piece of 6mm petrol pipe to the boost gauge side of the T, then stepped it down to 3mm using a straight joiner section. Use cable ties/small jubilees on each of the joints to ensure no leaking. Any leaks mean the dump valve wont crack and the gauge will read low.

I think you may be able to get a T piece which steps down 6mm to 3mm in a single go from LMA motorsport. LMA Motorsport - What's New

They don't list it on their site but said they did one when I mailed them but I sourced the bits i needed from a local shop.

Great cheers. I thinks I will see if I can get a 6 to 3mm t piece. It will be a whole lot neater and less prone to leaks. Thanks for the advice.
