Rear Wheel Bearing - Whats the size and grade?
Hi,
My rear wheel bearings are shot on my 1999 UK Turbo.
I'm going to buy a new bearing but i need to know the bearing size and grade. It is the numbers that are usually inprinted around the circumference of one side of the bearing that i need. I need these numbers as i know KOYO make these and i can get them direct from the manufacturer but i need to know the numbers first.
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Craig

The motor factor that i use for the part told me they would have to order one in and that it was a KOYO bearing.
So i told them not to bother as my dads company uses them and i can get parts off them for next to nothing as i have done in the past with motocross bearings.
All they had was a part number which is no use to me, i need the bearing size and grade which is inprinted into the bearing itself, when ordering direct from KOYO.

Either
4t-cri08ag5
or
4t-gri06ao5
As you will know the numbers are very small and the person i got the numbers off couldnt distinguish between a few of the numbers.
I'm sending my dad to work with them to see if he can figure it out.
I'll let you know if he finds it out.
I have got a feeling they are not right though as they are very unusual for a bearing number.

This is what is on the KOYO site
I will need clarification on the part number as it doesnt look as if it is listed although the site most likely doesnt list everything
Ignore the above!
I just noticed it looks like it is the middle one !!!!
4t-cri08ag5
4t-gri06ao5
= 4T-CR1-08a05
Which is a 65mm Tapered bearing which the Classic Uk Turbo's are. I believe some imports and the STI's are 70mm so this one wont fit.
