Default STi2 wagon, TD04 or TD05?

Apologies if this has been covered before but I've tried doing a search but can't find a definitive answer.

Does my STi2 wagon have a TD04 or TD05 turbo installed. The reason I ask is that I've found some ecu chips for sale but they only run on TD05's.

From my searches on here and elsewhere nobody seems to know for sure what turbo I'm running.

Failing that, does anyone know where I can find out from looking in the engine bay?

I would be asking a questions if the chip provider cannot map for a td04. Its pretty basic stuff.

That's a good point, lol. My car is pretty standard, changed the backbox and it has an hks racing induction kit and sard bov. Is a chip liekly to make that much of a difference? Still gonna check on the turbo later though.

Completely depends on the numbers on the chip. If its done right it should be a big difference. Done wrong and it could pop the motor. Try and find a map with some provenance.
