Question ECUTek Remap

Hi All,

I'm booked in for a remap in a couple of weeks. It's with WRC Tech based at Silverstone. Has anyone used them before and have they had good results?

Also, I am thinking of sorting my exhaust system out. I already have a back box, can anyone recommend and other changes I should make before I get the mapping done?

Cheers

M

they should be fine, but shouldn't you have asked the question BEFORE you decided to go with them?

Its not worth remapping unless you at least change the downpipe for a decat or sportscat to make some power available.

don't agree with that.. if you just want a number to brag about then correct the exhaust will free up some more horses once then mapped.. however it can be made far more driveable and crisper response even remapping a totally standard car.

Yes of course and you should know. My point is mapping a car with a less restrictive downpipe is going to give a much more dramatic improvement over standard if you are going to pay for a remap.
