Default TICK OVER ALL OVER THE SHOW

Iv noticed while driving every thing is fine but as soon as I pull up the revs drop right down very nearly to a stall then it hunts a bit and settles to a low tick over about 700rpm. If I blip the throttle it then returns to what it should be about 850rpm but I only noticed it doing it when my speedo cable went just a few days ago could they be related could a snapped speedo cable do this? Or is it just coincidence

Fixed. It turned out to be coursed by the speedo cable. The cable snapped at the same time as the problem started when I replaced the cable it no longer tried to stall

Yes. Speed sensor input to ECU to manage emissions.

That’s why my fuel economy was even worse with the cable snapped
