As above really.

I have an Apexi PFC and was wondering if i really need to go through the hassle and expense of either an ECU swap or the MAF sim conversion if I want to run a rotated garret GT30R setup.

The Car is a UK MY1999 with a fully built forged engine STI V heads and valve train, apexi 740cc injectors, APS cold air intake and a blitz steel mesh filter.

probably need a mafsim, as big turbos can have adverse effects on the maf

You stand a decent chance of maxing a maf out on a 30r. You can get a bigger pipe and rescale it but going for the sim would be you best option. It does anyway with the jerky throttle response when you lift off too.

plug and play as much as it needs mapping for it and setting up.
