HELP!! I can smell fuel under my bonnet!!
I pulled onto my drive last night after a short 1/2 mile journey and I could smell petrol/fuel type smell coming through my heater vents. Didnt think a lot of it untill I got out my car and walked around the front and could smell the same smell a lot stronger. I lifted the bonnet to see if there was anything obvious but it was dark so I had to take another look this morning. When I started it up again this morning after 30 secs or so I could smell it again but not as strong. There were no signs of fluid leaks just the smell. I'm worried about even moving it off the drive now incase its dangerous!!
Has anyone come across this and anyone have any possible causes?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

A few months back I could smell petrol but thought nothing of it. For some reason I opened the bonnet and fuel was leaking out of the rubber pipe from the fuel filter to the fuel rail If I had not had the engine running I would not have seen it. I nipped it up and all was fine then.
