Default Boost gauge on MY96 and standard boost pressure

Sorry, it really is a MY96

What is the standard boost presure for the MY96 classic Euro WRX? I though it should be around 12 PSI, but I'm reading a maximum peak of 9 (0.6 bar) and a normal pressure of 8 PSI.

This is were I located the hose for the sender unit

Is this the best place to locate it?

I have plugged the T fitting into the tube that it's in the middle of the three down where it is fitted in the picture.

Now it seems to be reading correctly, getting peak of 12 PSI and holding on 11 PSI.

This seems more like the standard values, right?
