I asume you followed all fitting instructions? Check for splits in all hoes, if you have I would clean out your boost control solenoid with brake cleaner, it sits on your drivers strut. Pull of the pipe from the compressor housing and the one to the waste gate, squirt the carb cleaner in to the compressor hose and switch the ignition on and off, you will hear a click from the solenoid as it acctivates. If its still the same then get a piece of pipe and connect directly from compressor to wastegate, you should get 0.5 bar, if not then this is what you need to look at, is it an adjustable actuator.

Would have thought should have been around 16psi as i was running 1.1 bar with my scoobyecu in my old 1995 WRX. Maybe soldered in wrong or fried something when soldering it.

what was the car boosting before, would have thought it would have been about 0.8-0.9 bar as standard which is higher than what you are getting

default setting for BCS is open between the top and middle ports. this gives a fail safe mode that will only allow 0.6bar
