White smoke on start up ???

Sounds normal to me. mine has always had a fuel smell on startup and produces white smoke (steam) until it warms up. most cars do. I've had mine for three years, so if something was on its way out, it would of gone by now !

Think my comment is the most sensible reply you have had mate !!

As above, what with the weather being colder, think of the exhaust being your mouth ,the exhaust is exhaling and you get a bit steam, same as if you are breathing out,bit like that.

Nowt to worry about.

White Smoke and White Stuff in Oil Cap = Headgasket. But no whitestuff so not that.
Sounds like the turbo to me.

This is provided it is white smoke big time!

As previous posters have mentioned a bit of white stuff on a cold morning is not unusual
