power fc and o2 sensor
Car has just failed its mot on emmisions (non cat test) readings were over 7%
Daft question, but which sensor on the FC commander is for the O2 sensor? would it be O2-1?
If so what should the readings be at idle?
I am getting between 0.08 and 0.20v and I am sure it should be between 0.7 and 1.1v so would this indicate a faulty sensor.
Readings were taken with the car fully upto temp (sat in traffic)
I had been using tesco super but I dont think this was affected by the recent breakdowns or was it?
Does the Power FC use the O2 sensor for fuelling or is it all done by the Power FC? Can it be switched on/off? (so I can check what it currently is at)
When the car failed its mot, the water temp was 88c and I had taken the car for a good run beforehand (not ragged just a nice drive to get things nice and hot)
Any advice welcome

It could be turned off.
To check
ETC > Function Select
Check o2 control and Idle control (the last 2, I think). Both should be on. Problem is you need to know which symbol means ON and which one means OFF! Basically if your PFC is set to throw the CEL when it detects knock, then make sure the o2 symbol is the same as the knock warning.

cheers Jay m A
Checked and the control is on. Just looked at the voltages again and they are well too low so I have ordered a new sensor and hopefully that will sort the fuelling out enough for the mot (passed easily last year)
