If you fit the brackets loosely to the intercooler and swivel them round you will find the 'shorter' holes line up ALMOST with a pair of already threaded holes in the bottom crossmember under the radiator. However these are at a different level, lower down. Best thing is to wangle a bolt through both ends of the tie brackets then tighten them down , so bending them to the right shape. Just run a tap through the thread on the car first through, they will be rusted up.

Mine is from flat4 and I didn't use the two bottom brackets. Bolting it to the crossmember was more than sufficient.

Yes the top mounting is enough to hold it in place. I just did the bottom ones as well to be on the safe side.

Yes mine's an Autobahn 88, for the money you can't beat them. The piping's not great, the welds are a bit rough, but then they are cheap and in terms of performance, they do the job very well. My charge temps are totally under control and it allowed me another 4 degrees of ignition advance under full boost. The pipes are a bloody tight fit though.

I used the bottom brackets put them in the vice and bent to shape front mount solid now not much of a problem to fit if you got a couple of old sockets you could use these as spacers
