Fuel Surge on track
Had the car loose power on track which i put down to loss of fuel supply,
conditions, tight-ish right hander, the accelerating away in 4th up slight incline.
Happened in same spot on 2 consectutive laps, then i looked at the fuel meter, which is slow to react to changes.
So what are the options, bearing in mind the cars is used on the road, but i want to use it mainly on track.
Baffled tanK?
Swirl Pot? (does this need an extra pump)
FPR?
all ove the above?
(and no posts from crusty old gits saying to drive smoother - out of control is fast)

A FPR will not do anything for fuel surge under cornering...
Keeping the tank over 1/4-1/3 will help, but then again it will marginally increase your lap time (a few more kgs onthe car but I doubt it you'd notice on a track day with timing not allowed...)
A baffled tank would do it, but it is an expensive option.
A swirl pot with decent capacity will be cheaper (yes you'll need another fuel pump as well), but you'll have to find somewhere to locate it out of the way.
The best option is the Spec C setup with the bafled soch/pump but it also comes at a cost...
