Question Oil from turbo?

I recently stripped out my air box and associated pipework to clean my boost solenoid due to over boosting (this worked btw).
My question it i noticed inside the metal pipework from the turbo to the intercooler and pipes going to it there is a thin coating of oil on the sides.
Am i right in thinking that its probably comming from the turbo.
There is the puff of smoke from the exhaust sometimes when the boost kicks in (not constant smoke though) and the car is using a small amount of oil, well about 1/2 litre every few months.
These symptoms have been with the car for a couple of years, should i be really worried.
Cheers
Matt

i believe that the oil is entirely standard with the standard breathers so prob nothing to worry about - I would wait for a proper techie response though.
