Question 2.0ltr Sport witha turbo?

I recently bought a 2.0ltr sport. For the money I had it was the best option, at the time of purchase any turbos were snapped up, were too expensive for me or had the rear end kicked out of them.

The car looks fantastic but I'd like to fit a turbo if possible. Haven't been under the bonnet of a car in a long time so looking for some advice. I live in the central belt of Scotland, (between Edinburgh & Glasgow).

Q1: Can I have a turbo fitted to my 20ltr Sport and where could I take it to make this happen.
Q2: It's nearly service time...where in this area can I have my scooby serviced and at what cost (40,000 miles)

I'd appreciate any help.

Ta,

you may as well sell up and buy a turbo, you can't turbo a sport for cheap.

Default Not any time soon

I don't really want to change cars anytime soon, hence the enquiry.

Thanks.

as above, its too much work to be financially viable.....

youd need to change a lot to even get it close to a turbos capability....the engine wouldnt take to being turbo'd too kindly, and youd blow it with moderate boost pressure, certainly not as much as a turbo would run as standard....

The youd have to change the injectors, get a turbo, change your exhaust for a turbo one etc etc, and thats assuming the standard sport gearbox could take it (im not sure if they are the same as their turbo brothers)
