Default I'M SUCH AN IDIOT!

I stupidly let my friends young son wash my WRX with me, unfortunately I wasn't paying much attention until I finished, and realised he was using the rough pad I had for the wheels on the bodywork! In the sun you can now see tons of light scratches! Will this buff off if I polish it?

hmmm

'friends young son' you sure lol

Anyway, you'll need some decent cutting compound to remove the scratches, then polish it, then wax it.

Just get some 'off the shelf' scratch remover from autoglym or something, it will be less dangerous then trade stuff for an amateur to use.

either use t cut or if you can get soem use farecla g3 cutting compound this is what is used when using a buffer, and if you have a buffer use that but be very careful not to buff through, if not get either of the above and some mutton cloth and use some elbow grease, then use soem decent wax or polish to insulate your paint work, hope all goes well matey
