Oil temp/pressure fitting kit??
Ok I have been looking for advice on fitting my gauges and am getting nowhere.
Is it worth using a sandwich plate that will feed both or am i better off keeping them at the top of the engine?

I've heard that sandwich plates can leak and depending upon you model don't fit.
I used LMA adaptors, t-piece and braided hose to fit mine, not straightforward, but if you are half competant with a spanner takes about 3 hours all in, you need to whip off the intercooler and alternator to make it really easy.

i am looking into fitting these gauges as well, and have seen the sandwich adaptors that go between the engine and oil filter. they look like the most easy way to do it?
sandwhich plates may be the easiest fitting, but not the most accurate readings. Not sure how much they would differ tho. Maybe if someone has tried a sandwhich plate then switched to the correct sender takeoff points they could say what difference there was in the readings.

Yes a sandwich plate is easier - assuming you don't mind having to change the oil and filter as well. TBH I'd rather work on top of the engine rather than underneath it. And even once you'd fitted your sandwich plate you're getting oil temp and pressure readings from the sump, which is not much good for monitoring purposes.
