Bonnet question?....

Bonnet question?....
On classics, what year did they start putting on the alluminum bonnets? I ask because I want one on my classic, will I need a face lift one, or they do one for 93-96 aswell? mine is a 93.

i think they came as standard on the wrx from 93, ive got one on my 94 wrx

couldnt be, i used to have a 94wrx wagon, it was steel, and really heavy....

My STi Ver3 has the aluminum bonnet, proper light weight.
Also come to think of it the boot is aswell.

1993 wagon, had an ally bonnet - then some tit at the MOT station decided to drive it into the back of a 4x4 they had in the garage. Now has a facelift ally bonnet

i have a 1993 wrx and i have the alloy bonnet and boot. They are ridiculously light... When closing the boot i always slam it shut.. i dont mean to its just that light...

why everybody does have an ally bonnet with a wrx and my 1997 sti wagon does have the steel one???

I thought it had something to do with JDM cars too, mine is a 96 wrx import with ally bonnet and boot.
