Default Stock fuel pressure on a MY97?

Fingers crossed fitting my 255l pump / SX FPR / 440cc injectors this weekend and was getting ready to set the SX at 3 bar / 43.5 psi but i am getting conflicting advice on the correct stock pressure . Some say higher some say lower, can anyone advise me on the correct setting please?

Thanks

3.5 to 3.8 is what mine is if you set at3.5 it will rise to 3.8 when you blip the throttle that pressure is fine

around 3bar is stock pressure.. but as you are fitting different injectors that is out of the window anyway. . you need it mapped / set up correctly with a wideband.

Assuming perhaps you asre fitting parts in preperation for that anyway?

Cheers guys, yes Simon i'm fitting the above parts ready for mapping them however that won't be for a few weeks yet (2 possibly 3). Am i best fitting the FPR + pump and waiting for the injectors til nearer the mapping session or are there other options?

Cheers.

Yes better to wait.. the 440s are not mega differen to the 380s so won't be too bad but nearer the remap the better.

Bugger, was hoping to get it all done in one weekend as my free weekends are few and far between. Is it the potential for rough running or some thing more serious if i fit the injectors but not map them?

It should be set at 3 bar static with vacuum pipe disconnected, roughly 2.3-2.5 bar with pipe connected.

If using different injectors you need to compensate ie if fitting 440cc instaed of standard 380cc then would be 380/440*3bar = roughly 2.6 bar static.

But as JGM says fit with wideband lambda to be safe
