if you do it the long flashes are in 10ns the short in 1ns let me know what it comes up with and I will tell you the result..you can take it off and clean it when you do there is a diaphram inside clean it and a big rubber washer clean it all with brake cleaner do it when it is cold as there are coolant lines that go through it just clamp off the lines before cheers

The reason i said about a boost leak is that the std actuator i think is preloaded to 0.7bar i think, and if you are getting lower than this, i.e 0.4bar this would only be poss if there was either a boost leak or actuator not working properly ?

Have a good look around your hoses, make sure none are cracked or weathered, have a listen for any hissing noises for leaking pipes, if you have an after market DV try the standard one ?

What vacuum are you reading at lidle, a lower (nearer zero) reading than normal would also indicate a leak ?

The -0.7 before the car is started would indicate a problem with the guage!!

It should be reading 0 as in neither negative or positive pressure!

does the car feel slow?

Dave.

May be leaking, again worth testing, it may not be as loud as usual becuase of the lower boost, it may be working fine.
