Exclamation z4 ecu

hi guys
just got a z4 ecu for my 240ps 93 import
open the case and found theres no extra chip 28 pin socket . is this normal?
ive got some numbers of the chips: a12-212-705,102 511100,m37791e4tj.thats the chip in the middle.
the small chip above it is:a12-212-801
the other chip to the left is:a19-257-025
its also got a sticker on the yellow socket 000-d17.

i have a u8 ecu in at the moment.
what fuel should i run the z4 ecu on ??and what gains would i have over the
u8 ecu?? if its a proper z4 ecu?
thanks help!
just making sure before i plug it in...

The z4 can be run on super unleaded (97+ron) but i run mine on tescos 99ron.

This is my z4s internals.
I have a decat as well and when giving it the beans through each gear you can feel the extra amount of boost (the z4 holds the boost and has a better map)

Do you mean the plastic socket in the bottom right because thats how i bought my z4.
The z4 is the base of the prodrive map not the other way round

The only Jap ECU that come with a socket are SB and 7K.

If a Z4 had a socket then it was running a chip at some point. Also the standard sockets are normally covered with a clear plastic cover and the socket has circular goldern inner contacts rather then square sprung contacts
