Default anyone know the name of these pistons

this is an over sized forged piston it is over sized by 0.5mm i think and has the number 50 on the top, does anyone know the make of it, cheers phil.

They are Subaru forged pistons, 0.5mm oversize, v3-4 STI by the looks of the depth of the dish.

Name? what do you mean by name? They are made by Subaru, they are oversize variants of standard forged pistons. To be entirely sure you are getting the right piston, you need to take some measurements of the dish (height, width and depth), as I don't think the engine type can be relied on to give you the correct piston.

You can order one from us, or any decent subaru specialist I imagine. Remember you can't buy rings for just one piston, so you will need to reuse the rings you have, or preferrably buy a new set of 0.5mm oversize rings.

sorry it is me being daft, have you got a number that i can contact you on to get some prices for that piston, full set of rings, big end bearings and main bearings please.

me again, the width of the piston is 93mm the depth of the dish is 3mm im not sure of the hight where do i measure if from and to, i have only measured it with a solid ruler so they could be slightly out, imay need to send it you.

my god i really am having a blond day today sorry paul, i got the pistons out of a wrx engine but i will be putting them in a 94 sti closed dec block (to be bored out for these to fit) ill phone you tommorrow for the prices, thanks phil.

Okay, to be honest, it's Subaru and it's not going to be cheap. By the time you've bought the one piston and some rings, you're probably looking at the thick end of £350.

i would have thought that, what price are you big end bearings and main bearings and posting all that to derby, cheers phil.
