tick over at 500rpm

can any one help me out with my tick over is ther a tick over screw i can turn my revs up with or is it a censor on the engine some were please help lots ov view but no replys thanks andy

If it's sitting half way between 0 and 1000rpm, then its idling at around 750rpm, and that's normal. The tacho reads 0, then the next bar is 500rpm.

its just below half way so why the poping and farting when im setting off chears tez
