Default my scooby ticks over at only 500rpm help

can anyone help me i just got my first scooby its a w reg 2.0 cc sport with all the wrx bits on it when i start it its fine but when i come to stop at lights it only ticks over at 500 rpm im sure it sould be 900 or 1000 rpm and when i go to set off it pops and farts till the revs are over 1000 rpm it has got a air kit on it but it feels like its not getting enoth fuel is there any thing i can do like turn up idel screw or some thing please help chears lads

I replied on the other thread but see here you have an "air kit". Has it started doig it since fitting the kit? Might be a MAf issue, or the induction kit is pants. Also the tacho reads 0rpm then straight to 500rpm, so halfway between 0 and 1000 is about 750rpm (close to 700 if it's central).

the induction kit was on the car when i first got it i dont under stand all this maf stuff as its my first scooby just want to get it sorted so i can sell it and put money towards a propper scooby turbo chears tez
