Will equal headers mean i lose all my Burbble!!
My mate wants to sell me a set of equal headers for my classic.
He tells me i won't lose all the classic flat 4 sound, and it's better for tuning.
Is he talking pants just for a sale??

Subaru Imprezas make a burbble (sic) because Subaru opted for a cheaper to produce unequal length manifold. If you replace that with an equal length manifold (manifold, not header), then your exhaust will sound similar any other.

I wanted to make my non-turbo 2.0 more burble like, i was told (on the forums) i can't cos I am without unequal headers...
i just changed the back box and now it sounds more impreza like, wonder if my manifold is un-equal? Surely it is??

Unless they are after market I think it is only the latest JDM twin scroll imports that have equal length as standard. Stand to be corrected though.
Noise is completely different so if yours doesn't sound like other scoobies then it may have!!
