what is this ?
can some1 tell me what this is. looks like it had been blocked off for some reason the car did have induction kit on but ive went back to std airbox. has it been blocked off because ther was indution kit on it and iff so where dones it go back on to

Its not the boost solenoid, that's the chunky one below it, you'll need a new one as it seems from the pic that the atmospheric spur is bunged, and AFAIK the bit that's missing will have a little non return valve in it to stop any boost pressure leaking out and giving the MAP sensor a false reading if any air was being bled.

jim will it be ok iff i just make sure there is no air getting out off the wee pipe where the atmospheric spur was. or will i have to get a hole new unit like in the pic above

i may have the bit your after but i will have to check ! thought it was just a round type filter thing which pushes over the tube ? i may have complete unit or just that bit or even the filter ! let me know if ya interested

i just need the wee filter thing but iff its cheep anuff buddy i might take the hole pressure exchange soleniod( not got a clue how much these are ). let me know iff ya find it and send me a PM cheers mate
