Default heatsheild

hi iv managed to get a heatsheild(chimney type)and 2 brackets,but tried to fit today but didnt have aclue were the brackets bolt to,any pics of how the heatsheild bolts on or any advice would be great

if you ve got a decat or aftermarket down pipe, chances are that there is nowhere to bolt the brackets too mate..

One bracket uses the same bolts the downpipe uses to bolt to the turbo (the top two bolts)

The heat sheild then bolts too this bracket. It also bolts directly to the side of the turbo, nearest the off side wing. I think the other side bolts on the same bracket used on the top of the turbo, is the bracket shaped as if it goes around the side of the turbo? If so that side bolts to that some how.

If not then there might of been a really long bracket that bolts to the side of the gearbox, but Im pretty sure im confusing this with the bracket for the intercooler

cheers,yes its a bell mouth down pipe do i need to cut this to try and make it fit?
