Default Air/fuel Ratio guage, wiring?

I have been given one of these guages, unfortunatly no instuctions arrived, now there are three wires coming from the back of the guage

Red

Black

Purple


Anyone have any idea how to wire this up.

Where is the sender.

It was a freeby so will fit it in the mean time, as it fill a hole in the second pod.

Purple (sender) should be a taken from the signal wire on your stock oxygen sensor. (just after the turbo on the downpipe).
However I do agree with frayz, a narrow band air/fuel ratio gauge is more of a "cosmetic"value...

Thanks for that, with regard to the cosmetic value, theres not many scoobs running about with all non-cosmetic mods.

is advisable to connect that wire directly to ECU pin.

the purple one. the pin depends of your model year and version.
