Default Fault Code 44 - Wastegate or ABS?
Having looked at various forums I understood that Code 44 was the wastegate duty solenoid. However both my Subaru main dealer and an independent have said that it is the ABS-AT Control ( that's what was shown on the Diag. printout ).

I'm confused. Can anyone out there help?

They will have probably put a wastegate soleniod on to check the codes. You can do the same, borrow a soleniod, clear the fault code and see if the error returns
