what are the 2 little metal strips/brackets for that are fitted on the resonator pipe end? they look about 3" long x 1/2" wide with a hole near the end.

i've been looking at some aftermarket pipes and none of them have these brackets any ideas what they are for?

When a Prodrive package is fitted, the original heat shields around the cat are taken off and re-fitted on the decat section - the tags are just mounting points for the shields.
