Installed a new fuel gauge as I snapped the needle on the old one whilst installing white dial kit... now the fuel gauge isn't displaying correctly whats in the tank... if i disconnect the battery will it re-sync?

I would have though it should display it correctly straight away, its only displaying what the sender is sending ?

i kno on my 93 WRX wen i was fitting a mph speedo i accidently moved the fuel needle and it was reading wrong, simple fix move the needle to where it shud be.

Yeh it only moved when I put 30+ litres in earlier... is out of sync so just need to manually move it to the top and fill her up (Y)
