The windscreen wipers in my MY98 have developed an annoying squeaking noise during operation. However its not due to the wiper blades coming into contact with the glass because if I lift them up and operate the wipers the squeak is still there. It seems to be something to to with the wiper mechanism.

Any ideas on how I can sort it?
