Full decat and fuel economy

I recently fitted a full decat exhaust (Magnex downpipe, magnex centre with box and prodrive backbox) and Green panel filter to my MY00 classic. I was expecting the engine to run more efficiently with no restrictions but if anything the economy has got worse.

Anyone got any thoughts?

even with a re map your still going to see decreased fuel economy.

i noticed more fuel consumption when doing the same mods on a MY99. had a remap and it is still about the same.

you can't possibly expect to modify the car and get better mpg thats plain daft.Once you get on the slippery slope of modding expect to see your mpg disappear as quick as the contents of your wallet
