Default what electronic boost contoller?

i'm researching the purchase of an EBC, not so I can have lots of pretty lights in my car and some great sounding scramble function, nor am I interested in whacking up the boost and it's associated problems.

I want to make use of the fact that EBCs can increase spool by electonically controlling wastegate opening via preventing it cracking open during turbo spool up and loosing boost.

Anyway, looking for something that's discreet, reasonably priced and of course does the job.

What is everyone else running, or does anyone have any recommendations?

I have a an AVCR ....

I bought it to make sure that the boost is set for each gear (gear judge).....very new JDM ECU's have this feature along with lots of potential for multiple maps, launch control !!

The problem is that if the ECU thinks there is a problem and wants to reduce boost it can't as the AVCR is in control !!

I'd stick with the ECU and 3 port for now

Shaun
