Safety Devices 6 point roll cage.
I need some pictures of a Safety Devices 6 point bolt in roll cage, installed in a car. Anyone?
I have a classic wagon with a sun roof. I know there will be problems installing it in a wagon, but will they be of the "show stopper" type? I was offered at a very reasonable price, so if it doesn't fit I'll just pass it on.
Can the roll cage be modified, so that I only retain the roof bar and the rear section? Only cars approved by Norwegian motorsport authorities are allowed to have a full coll rage, due to the danger of serious head injury.

I have this cage in my solid roof saloon.
It is a tight fit to the roof header rail and across the B posts (door latch posts of the shell)
I had to remove the sun visors to get it in so it is that tight.
Normally sunroofs are not approved in motorsport unless steel.
I think you might have problems.
Graham.

Thank you, highly appreciated!
I picked up the cage today, it looks really nice. Think I'll bolt in the entire cage if it fits, and then simply remove it if the authorities play up. There's no rule against running with a helmet on public roads, is there?

Remember to fit the padding ANYWHERE where your valuable head might reach in a crunch and then go about 100mm further as you DO stretch on impact (and you compress too).
Take it from me, I HAVE found this out the hard way... and my 911 Porsche afterwards was 25mm shorter than when it was first built.
I hit a big 200 year old tree on a hillclimb track at 50 mph. It took 13 tonne to pull it all back into shape.

I can now confirm that roll cages designed for the classic sedan do not fit the classic wagon
The top of the rear wheel wells are further forward and angled differently in the wagon.
