I have got a loose heatshield somewhere I have yet to find it but it's in the engine bay hiding from me, my knocklink seems to light up at certain revs regasrdless of boost could this little heatshield be causing it !?
It gets noisy @ 6k then goes quite at 7k till redline !

I had my KL start lighting up in the same way. It was the up-pipe heatshield parting company from a rusty weld. The up-pipe was only 2 yrs/20k miles old.

Heat shield was ripped off and up-pipe wrapped with DEI and no further KL noise.
