Talking Fitting Kit for TD05 16G

Right, just bought myself a TD05 16G turbo that is to be fitted to my MY99 UK Turbo.
Apart from a new gasket set, what else am I likely to need when fitting?
Read something about a different size oil feed banjo bolt??

Will be getting a re-map very soon after fitting, so no worries there.
And as my fuel pump is working ok, do I really need to change it?

Spec at present is:
Full decat
Green panel filter
NGKPFR 7B Plugs
Tek 2 map
277bhp
266lb/ft torque.

Am I correct in thinking that as long as I have the water/oil pipes and banjo bolts that attach them to the tdo5, then its a straight swap from td04 to td05??

As far as I know you only have to change the banjo bolt when going from a VF series turbo to a TD, if its a TD04 to TD05 you will be ok.

straight swap over from the td04 tothe td05 mate,i even used the original gaskets with no problem,i did swap over the oil pipe for some reason i cant recall, but im pretty sure there wasnt a great need for it...... i also uprated the fuel pump to a walbro 255 for peace of mind if nothing else..... weak mixture at high revs due to a poor preforming pup will kill your engine in seconds,no second chance, didnt think it was worth the risk on even a low milage car like mine

drove around off boost for two weeks till i could get the apexi pfc mapped, then could use it as intended,at first you will miss the low end pull that the td04 offers over the bigger td05,but once you change your driving style to suit the 05, its smiles all the way.

Did you fit ported headers? I understand that this helps lower the spool up point?

At the same time i fitted wrapped ported headers and ported wrapped uppipe, the entry on the td05 was also slightly enlarged to increase gas flow and therefore reduce lag somewhat..... also 2004 wrx intercooler, open neck decat downpipe, waalbro pump apexi power fc... is is on a my00 wagon by the way so 440 injectors as standard..... dont get me wrong its not that much laggier over the 04,but it is noticable, and the first ime i drove the car i though na i dont like the lag...... but then you rev it out and the difference is well worth it,so much harder hit and it keeps on pulling instaed of running out of steam like the td04,i just dont let the revs drop as far as i used to before and i wouldnt go back to the smaller blower at all now.
