Default Potential of Td05 16g on STi5?

Hi guys

I am playing with switching to a STi5 Type R LHD built by Prodrive.
Since I am located in the middle of Europe the LHD is a definitive plus for me.

The car is quite nice, hasn't done a lot of miles and is stock besides an exhaust and a turbo upgrade to a Td05 16g.

Since this turbo is not so common around here I wanted to know a little bit more about it. What can you guys tell me about it?

Which turbo comes original with the STi5 Type R?

Thanks

the original turbo will be a VF28, the TD05-16g will given you more top end power without sacrificing spool, it is an all round better turbo IMO.

You would be looking at around 330-340 with a good tune and similar torque if its set up well.

If you are talking about a TD05 then No it isn't.

I do have a vf34 in my wrx and it is ballbearing.
It is quite a good combo on this one.

But I do not now if it would make any sense to switch the Td05 for a vf34.

What do you think is such a car worth in the uk, besides LHD.
Only 30tkm. Built by prodrive.

What are your power aspirations?

Not worth swapping a VF34 for a TD05 16g.

18g upwards, things are getting serious and you may require further supporting modifications.

Right now I am just looking what this car is capable of with this spec, since I am thinking about buying it.

How much EGT does an STi5 engine take?
Boost?
