Default Cut out!

Hi all, I have a MY00 UK turbo standard. I was sitting at a set of lights yesterday and it just cut out and wouldn't restart. I pushed it to the side of the road with the help of the local plod and phoned the AA. About 10 mins later it just restarted with no probs!. Then today on the way home from work coming down the A1m it seemed to hesitate a couple of times whilst accelerating in 5th gear but didn't cut out, sat outside my house for a cuppla mins cooling engine and everything seemed fine? Any ideas peeps?

Thanks jue, but the idle seems to be fine. I have been told it may be the boost solenoid so I am going to give that a clean today!

I had an r Plate one that had boost solenoid problems but that just lost boost in top gear and felt like the engine had died altogther but it hadn't. The dealer just blew it out with an air line and no more problems, I thought I had blew the engine the first time it happened. Good luck but dont get scammed on getting it done its only a two minute job.
