Fluttering on Boost
Hi All
I have a UK MY00, with a Decat as the only mod.
I had it for 3 years but recently when I am accelarating it seems to 'flutter' when on boost - rather than a smooth acceleration. It's better when on full throttle than part throttle.
I have the original MAF, do you think this might need changing?
Cheers

i had this problem on my car. does it fluctuate when your giving it a bit and feels like its building up in stages? do you have a boost gauge fitted if yes whats it showing?
Hi
Yes it seem build up. It's almost like the Turbo is very momentarily (fractions of a second) having it's boost cut, and it make the car slightly judder.
No boost gauge on my car. How did you fix yours?

well i cleaned my boost solenoid which seemed to help but its mainly caused by the de-cat. go for the cleaning first if its still there you need a re-map to sort it properly
