Try this...

KnockLink — Link Engine Management Systems - plug-in & wire-in aftermarket ECU's

I've got a custom install in mine as well as Rob

Well it's a very good safety feature... I would recommend one on yours when you get it for extra peace of mind.

You can get them second hand about the forums if you keep your eyes peeled, not to expensive new anyway... do you know anyone good with electronics Julian ? that will allow you to extend the LED's and custom install it somewhere then

Danny's got his fitted in standard format so you can see what they look like before hand.

Oh hes around ok, just not quite as quick on the key board as he has been previously. Perhaps its the arthritis in his fingers playing up.

What are you supposed to do if you have one installed and all the lights start flashing? am i right in thinking it is down to a dodgy batch of fuel so you would have to drain your tank?

Id avoid high load and anything more than part-throttle openings, but thats all.

Until youve used it all up; fill with decent fuel and try again. If the problem continues with different then you might start looking for another cause, an air leak perhaps.

Thats like saying that the dinosaurs would have survived had they 'just had a CockLink fitted!' ................................. you have NO IDEA AT ALL under what circumstances the car failed and why!!

YOU ARE GUESSING!!

Which is appropriate, as the installation of a CockLink is pure guess work in itself!

If you see a RED light turn the sensitivity down until you only ever see a GREEN now and again ............... thats the instructions!!! Bloody lot of good that is!!

It is as it has always been, fit one if your shadow frightens you when you catch an unexpected glimpse of it .................................

Pete I'm thinking about fitting a C0cklink as I tend to get a lot of unexpected explosions in my pants..... will this give me a warning of any premature detonation?

Question

Is this still the case (big end failure) with newer Scoobs ie I've not heard of it happening on the later models? I thought that this related to just the original JDM's?

TX.
