Default CAR STARTS ON THE BUTTON ?

HELLO ALL,
my car starts on the button It fires up straight away but got me thinking that it dosent pump the oil around enough to prolong life of the engine Is this worth worrying about or just be happy it starts

i think you're just worrying for no reason.
As long as you let the engine warm up properly there should be no problem

Don't use oil that is too thick during the winter.
The oil light should be out within a couple of seconds. If not it needs investigation.
Does your car run normal oil pressure when warm, tick over and in the cruise?

Whats normal though harvery? My car has 15w 50 in it, which for some reason all the different ppl i have been to have used. My car when warm ticks over at 3 - 3.5 bar, and always runs at 6 bar at cruise.
Unless of course its the first start of a nice cold morning, then thats another story, LOL.

Your oil pressure is around what would be considered normal.
How long does it take for the oil light to go out on the first start of the morning and how long before you have 2-3 bar? It should rise past 3 bar rapidly on tickover from cold.
By observing the oil light and the pressure guage, you may get an indicationas to the possibility that the guage is "lazy"
On a Classic without too much wear, certainly for winter use, I would be running Motul 10W-40 or a similar FULLY synthetic. On a New Age I would consider a 5W-30.
