Engine Management Light.
I was cruising home on the motorway last night and noticed the bloody engine management light appear. i got home and plugged in my laptop.
It was showing P0136 (O2 censor Circuit)?
I stopped in the pub for a pint to think things over, when i returned to and started the car the light had gone out?
For the last year i've been running the car on Sainsbury's super unleaded. But yesterday i was forced to use BP ultimate. i had driven approximatly 60 miles using this fuel.
Could it be that this fuel is the cause?
I drive a bugeye WRX.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Exhaust sensor failures often have the light coming on intermittently. The car will run OK with a faulty O2 sensor as long as that's the only error, but best to get it done in case it masks anything more serious. I've had an O2 and EGT sensor fail, O2 fixed on warranty and EGT fixed by a mate with the part only costing about 40 quid and taking 1/2 hour to fit.

CEL P0136 is a CEL relating to the front O2 pseudo wideband lambda sensor. The exhaust (rear O2) sensor throws P0420 if it thinks there is a problem with the cats.
The bugeye's are notorious for throwing CEL's but usually Camshaft / misfire / neutral position switch etc.
If it comes an again I'd change the offending sensor.
