how do you tell what gram a td05 is? if the owner doesnt know?

You have to take it apart and inspect I would have thought. If you are looking at the one on ebay I would assume that its a standard 16G and the seller is trying to sell it for more than its worth.

yeah it is the one on ebay, abit confussed as it said he just removed it from a my96, but i did think they were front entry?

I wouldn't buy anything from ebay especially a turbo. Save your money and buy one off andyf there cheap enough

Thought only post 97 had front entry as used to have a 1995 WRX with 90 degree TD05 and bought a front entry and put on from a post 97

Its been sold as a converted front entry so is not the original turbo. Treat it as a 16G FE and dont pay more than £150 for it.

If its an 18G or 20G you are after, go for the cheap 90 degree one then get it converted properly with a 12 month warranty from Andy F.

if i buy a td05 or vx28 from ebay whats the best way to make sure its a good one? who can i send it to and what do they usually charge for a refurb, anyone?
