What inlet pipe would be best suited to a 20G, the standard or a silicone hose? Want to avoid surging from the turbo.

IIRC they seem to run well on the std inlet, I used (when i had the car) a Samco and it had a small amount of surge in the midrange, it seems the freer (sp) flowing the inlet tract the more problems you'll have with surge.
