Ok guys if i had one of these fitted what do you exactly do???
If you fool the ecu in to thinking theres less boost how do you up the fuel to cope with the extra boost that you have got??

Are they safe??
Who's the best to get one fitted buy and what sort of pice would i be looking at?

The cars an 02 WRX(yes the ugly bugeye one)

You don't fool the ecu at all, you take boost control away from the ecu. You will have fueling to suit but as to how much?? you will get quicker spool and hold boost to the red line but if you up the boost then it's at your own risk.

There is no fooling going on just manual control of the boost. Fuel cut will prevent you from going silly places but if you want to run a dawes safely you really should have an accurate boost gauge and if I had my time again I'd also have a knocklink for det monitoring.

Yep, just get it remapped - its the safest way.

Even a KL needs setting up with det cans IMO, they seem to vary a fair bit. My last one had to be set almost half way back.
